Rachel Connor

Rachel Connor is the Attorney Recruiter for Grant & Maxie.

Rachel began her professional career in Human Resources, obtaining both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Business Management and Human Resources from Colorado State University.

After working in Human Resources for approximately 8 years with many global companies, including Target, CH2M Hill (Jacobs), Lockheed Martin, and Orica, Rachel decided to pursue her law degree at the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law, focusing on Corporate and Commercial Law, completing her J.D. and Master’s in Real Estate Finance from the University of Denver, Daniels College of Business, together, in just 2.5 years. She then practiced law for almost 5 years in various areas, including real estate, finance, landlord/tenant, civil litigation, and family law. Rachel continues to maintain her license to practice law and volunteers her time to those less fortunate.

Rachel sought out a position in attorney recruiting to utilize her degrees in a non-traditional manner, helping other attorneys to obtain positions that inspire and fulfill their career goals. She is able to relate to candidates and understand the inner workings of law firms and seek out candidates that intricately match the needs of clients.

Rachel targeted Grant & Maxie, a division of Friedman Williams, because of their superb reputation and national footprint. Rachel is excited to transition her career into the recruiting arena, representing Grant & Maxie, and beginning to build and maintain excellent relationships with clients and candidates for many years to come.
